2-Octanol is an 8-carbon, secondary alcohol derived from agricultural based raw-material viz. Castor oil. It is also commonly called as Capryl alcohol or Methyl Hexyl Carbinol.

The 2-Octanol can be used as Chemical Intermediate for surfactants, esters, phosphates, etc. It can replace many primary alcohols for making esters for plasticizers, emollients for cosmetics, synthetic lubricants, adhesives, etc. It can also be used as Defoamer in various defoaming formulations. It is also a Perfume intermediates & used for masking of industrial odours.

Standard packaging offered are steel drums, HMHDPE drums, IBC & Iso-Tanks.
