2‐Octanone is an 8‐carbon ketone derived from agricultural based raw‐material viz. castor oil. It is also commonly called Methyl Hexyl Ketone.

2‐Octanone can be used as Chemical Intermediate. It is incorporated in various de‐foaming formulations, mineral floatation agent. It can also be used as Perfume intermediates, flavouring intermediates & masking of industrial odours. Also it works as solvent especially for epoxy resin & PU coatings. It is Anti-blushing agent for Nitro Cellulose lacquers. 2‐Octanone works with Rubber processing chemicals as well.

Standard packaging offered are HMHDPE drums, IBCs, Iso-tanks.
